A lot of money appears to have been raised by donations, sponsorship and fans just dipping into their pockets since last Thursday. Someone mentioned to me over £7000 total already which is amazing.
We need to reach a wider audience. The more people that know of our plight the more we are likely to raise. This could also assist with longer term sponsorship ... a shirt sponsor for example, as people talk and someone, somewhere would be interested.
Could I ask everyone reading this to PM me with their email address. I will draw up some sort of flyer/leaflet which we can email to friends and local business's, indeed, pretty much anyone you know.
In addition, if everyone at that meeting were to hand deliver say 100 leaflets on their street and locally then between us we could reach 10,000 new people in a matter of days. Again, numbers counts, and even the smallest donations here and there will add up to a tidy sum.
I will also be arranging a JustGiving.com page today for online donations, and this can form part of the flyer.
Kev, i thought about JustGiving and checked it out and it said that its for Charities? I think they also take a cut.
If we go just paypal donations (You can use your cards etc), then the club get every penny.
Some great ideas. Kev you could upload the flyer to tinypic.com and also then ask people what rough area they are in and where they will be flyering.
Also Dartford fans flyer Dartford Town Center on a Morning before a game. Its something that i would be happy to do if we can get a few others to do the same with upcoming match flyers.

Not a lot of betting going on due to injuries and also we are breeding some pups who were born last week.
What i think is a good idea is we all pick a match to bet on Welling. and all winnings goes in the fund. peopel can post how much theyve bet before teh game and then donate it if we win.
Never bet more than you can afford to lose and it doesnt matter if you have £1 or £50 it all adds up.
