A remote prospect, but has the club approached Inter Milan or Sky TV for sponsorship/advertising/ donations because we did tear up Ben Greenhaulgh's contract for him to appear in that future football star show?

I think the club should be aiming that high for sponsorship. Shows the HMRC that they are serious about raising money. I'd prefer it not to be Inter Milan though for personal reasons :D
Bertie, I know what Andy Ford said and what was published but as I pointed out at the time an U18 in full time education cannot under the FA rules be contracted and thus there could be no contract to tear up. If any such 'contract' existed it wasn't worth the paper it was written on.
The best we could realistically hope for would be for Ben to get a signed Inter shirt for our auction, that is if he is even aware of Welling's plight.

Ben told Your Thanet, part of the KOS media group, that he had signed a contract for Welling United and that Daisy helpfully tore up the contract at the 11th hour to help him. He could not otherwise have taken part in the programme.

I can assure you that what I said about u18's is factually correct. There are some unscrupulous managers who would have youngsters sign what they are told is a contract but it is not valid and probably sits in a drawer as if it was submitted to the FA they would refuse to accept it.
The normal practice is to pay expenses which could realistically be £30 -50.

Didnt Fordy go mental and begrudgingly let Ben get out? Thats what i heard. Dont think it was Daisy as Ben had already been in Italy for 2 months when Daisy arrived i THINK.

I can only repeat what was printed in Your Thanet following an interview with Ben. I guess they got hold of the wrong end of the stick when they referred to Daisy as the manager at that time. I am not doubting the veracity of your statement, Bruno, and I am well aware of FA rules regarding contracts. Was Ben 17 or 18 when he went to Italy, and did he leave full-time/part-time education then?

was still at Darrick Wood school
contract would only have been a contract, if sent and formally approved by the FA
