Yes, good luck to all Wings representatives battling to keep our club alive today. Does anybody know the time of the hearing or when we are most likely to learn of the outcome? It is going to seem a very long, nervous, day.

IMHO I truly believe that the club have presented a package to our tax consultant which should be acceptable to the HMRC at this stage of the negotiations.
We must all remain positive, and move forward together working with each other, and our club will prosper in the long term.
Well said Eric. Our players are giving their all on the park in difficult circumstances. I was so proud of them last night. Now it is our job off the field to keep this young team together to surprise a few more of our opponents because, make no mistake, Chelmsford are a very good side.

We've paid half of the debt already which must surely count for something. Money from kit sponsorship, donations, club shop sales etc. will account for £10,000 - £15,000 at a guess, plus i wouldn't be surprised if the Hobbin's can magic up some extra cash from somewhere else, so i think we'll be ok in the short term :)

The only bit I am not sure about is the 'magic up cash' bit...there is no cash to magic up.....we need that buy in by someone and the stay of execution IF that is what we get is the only way forward
I would also guess that the HMRC will want to see that it wont happen again otherwise we will be in the same situation again and again etc

I suppose we could start talking again about the need for a commercial manager to raise regular revenue each season, but that one has been done to death :O
Mark i think Kev is suggesting that the new guy is productive and making a difference and showing signs he will bring in money from sponsors and advertising.

I went on the Royal Couts of Justice website and we are on the list of hearing of "not before 11.30am". Still no further news though. By the looks of it it's a busy day at the court today, the list of companies on the winding up list for today is HUGE! Interesting to see London Welsh Rugby Club there too.

They have a Commercial Manager now, Daisy found one that works on Commission.
Hallelujah :D How about we have another meeting some day after today's hearing, to let us know what went down, and talk about what will happen next, and have that commercial manager make an appearance to talk about the sort of things he is doing for the club to make us money? :) Oh and well done once again to Jamie! The next time the team go for a run around Danson Lake, Jamie could cheat and walk across the middle :D

Rochdale AFC also on today's list. They certainly seem to be gunning for the football clubs (of all codes).
Although his work has been amazing in everyway, the statement "he deserves a pay-rise" is the sort of reason we are in this mess ... spending what we dont have.

i don't think Dogme was being serious but he actually DOES deserve one!!
We cant give him a pay rise but you can shake his hand and buy him a drink in the clubhouse and that goes for Ashby and Frosty too.
Hes found players on the right money, got a great coaching team and he has done superbly, really surprised me, i said when he was appointed, good luck but we should have got someone experienced, ive always liked Daisy but never thought he could transform a club in less than a year and keep raising the bar.
All i can say is, Dartfords right back must be good enough to play Championship if they can not want Jamie Coyle. Hes a proper competitor, has legs, loses nothing in the air and gets forward and he encourages the others and gees them up. If Jack ever gets injured or suspended Coyle would make an excellent leader.
