Can anyone suggest a pub for Sat's game at Staines or ones to avoid? We will be coming by train so anywhere on route from the station to the ground or does the club have a half decent bar?

I ave got this site but it only covers B' SQ' Premier - http://www.conferencegrounds.co.uk/

cheers, FC Sean

Also try their forum... they seem a decent lot although DanSwan seems to wins them up and it can be lively on there.

Or you could wait for Stafford or Danson to post in this thread.

I only recall one pub between the station and the ground and another at the far end of Wheatsheaf Lane. Both were decent pubs although neither had a fantastic range  both had something drinkable for us Real Ale drinkers.

Very kind of you Trig but I'd rather have a Real Ale (unless you are offering some Krug champers from Harrods).

Not this time, Chief. Only managed the Spoons last year and went for a beer in Kingston after.
