The Tennants Erith & B & Q played the Mighty Sporting Bengal in the Kent league and DREW!!, It gets better, Erith's EQUALISER (Yes they were losing) came in the 97th Minute!
Oh Dere Oh Dere, Gravesend got stuffed by Exeter, Slatter booked for unsporting behavior in the 90th minute, James Smith not in squad. Douvre sent their first team to AFC Wimbledon for a Friendly (AFC - The other Non League team with live radio commentary) and won 1-0, After sending the reserves and car park attendant to Dryden's Benefit after saying they needed to preserve the first team until the 20th. Home fans thought they wouldn't dare send the first team 4 days later to AFC, would they? THEY DID! Classy!
Ritchie Hanlon apparantly failed to sparkle and one of their fans, Matty would'nt be surprised if he was left out in midweek. Weymouth did beat Havant though.
Stephen Hughes signed for Maidenhead reportedly doing a very good Fat Wallet impersonation, but they got battered away from home, his old team Farnborough got annihilated 6-2 at Lewes, who look very strong. Boothy got a late goal as Cambridge beat Weston 3-0, Boothy made it 2-0 then a further late one made it 3-0. Wings next 3 points victims Histon beat Thurrock 2-1 AWAY from home.... Hmmmm, either Histon are very good, Thurrock are pants or they are both Pants! We shall see on Wednesday at Histon.
Carshalton set their stall out early with a thrashing at Spytty against Newport. Jimmy Bolton laughably said that their Keeper Stuart Searle is BY FAR the best keeper in this league, So why do they have Jonty as back up lol. 4-1 to the baaaaaaaaaaaaah men.
Woking led at Kiddy until two goals in the last 10 minutes gave the Aggborough side a win. Grays came away with a good draw at Burton.
Football is back.... TFFT!!

E&B may well have met Sporting Bengal on one of their good days. They (SB) got off to a flying start last season then fell away. I believe that E&B have a young team this season.
G&N Smudger can't expect to hold down a first team place in a National Conference side. He has a great potential but still has a lot to learn which is why I was a little surprised by Daish's persistence in the transfer saga.
Histon on Wednesday A game which both sides will want to win and thereby maintain a good start to the season. A potential banana skin for us especially if we play like we did in the first half against St Albans.
Conference South None of the opening day matches ended in a draw.
