.....out on Saturday before, during & (probably) after the Woking game at PVR. It will cost you 2 of your English pounds per copy. Thanks to the amazing generosity of the Morris family in Australia who covered our printing costs every penny taken will go straight to the fund for clearing the club's debt.
If nothing else Saturday will see a slick operation. Before the game you'll be able to find us in the vicinity of the club shop - the shambolic cardboard box should give us away. And true to the Wings' "right money only" tradition, it will be greatly appreciated if you offered us the, er, correct amount.
Will I be correct in asking that it will be a bit more up market than it used to be?
Would it be inproper of me to assume that my £2 will purchase 50 glossy pages of laughter and interest in an A5 size hardback presentation? Or If I'm lucky, will I get a dozen pages held together with one staple with a dodgey coloured cover?
In a sign of goodwill I will call off my boycott at the outrageous anti-Hales stance of the once great fanzine (or whatever they were called in those days).
