Lets be fair.. Cumbers and Pugh are different class to Whitnell. Whitnell will be a Ryman player. He chose to leave us when all the others have stuck by us.
Its no loss id rather see Joe Healy play up front if we had injuries because he fights for this club and gives everything.
Bye Whitnell good luck in Ryman.

We lose Whitnell and get Clarkey back. Looks like a superb deal to me?
Acheampong has been around the club since pre season at matches this season, in squad photos at matches, and in press says hes being paid and on contract , on that basis he should be available.
Might i suggest Erith & Belvedere for Mr Whitnell.

Can't believe how quickly you've all turnt on Tommy, he put a great shift in for us last season bagging loads of goals with Pughy. It's a shame he has gone and I wish him the best of luck! Good to have Clarke and Pires back however.
The reason is we cant fill a bench and need all the bodies and hes just walked out. He also wouldnt sign in pre season. Hes not going to get a heros goodbye for Walking out when we are blocked from replacing him is he?

You are right Turndle he did put on a good show last season and we are grateful. However he p*ssed a lot of people off at the beginning of the season saying he wanted away, when he knew the club had the embargo and he couldn't be replaced. It showed a total lack of loyality to Welling and the fans that were so supportive of him last season. If he is that good then he should have stayed and fought for his place - instead as soon as there was some competition he wanted to go. It is no surprise that as soon as we knew Pires and Clarke were available he was sent packing.

Agree with Chelwing, great last season but when the chips were down it seemed a different story once Pughie wasnt here.
From what I remember most of his goals were in the six yard box, think we need a bit more than that from a striker at this level but good luck to him whever he goes
Daisy wasnt happy that he had a message posted on the internet aswell. Cumbers is a far better striker, as is Clarkey and Healy is doing better than Whitnell was this season.
Simply put he probably didnt fancy getting cup tied and being stuck on the bench after, so hes gone now. Good Luck Whitnell, i truly mean that. Hes admitted hes not good enough for this level and has no fight in him to prove otherwise and doesnt give a toss about the club.
Thankfully the rest of the squad have shown more balls, belief and desire.
Whitnell will do a decent Job in Ryman 1 or Kent League.

He has obviously realised with Pires and Clarke back he would be 5th choice. Why should he stay, its hardly his fault we didn't pay our taxes. As for Cumbers 3 goals in 8 games i still think he might be under threat from Clarke?
Cumbers , may have had 3 goals, but his link up play and running is exceptional he has also had other efforts saved.
Our 2 strikers are superb and Clarkey will play in Midfield. IF we get an injury up front then Clarkey or Healy can go uptop or Pires with Healy on the Left.
Weve got pugh and cumbers and they will both score tomorrow.

I sincerely hope there is no change to the front two. They are a real threat as a partnership and will only get better. I am sure Clarke will be in midfield, especially as jack is suspended.
By the way - Parkinson had a very good game at Staines IMO and also buttoned his lip and no silly tackles. Creit to him for refelcting on what happened with the Red Card. He is better playing football than looking to start a war. Looking forward to his return and he will hopefully be over his injury.
