We might stand a far greater chance of attracting new fans if we offer a 50% discount when they present these flyers. The casual fan may be a lot more willing to pay £5.50 than £11, and so we may make a lot more money this way. All that would be required would be us writing ''50% off with this flyer" on each one. Tried to call Barrie earlier but it was quite late in the day (about 5.45) so didn't get a response. Thoughts on whether this would be sensible?
Should really have been put on the flyer if we were going to do that.
I would be tempted to keep it full price. Then do another season ticket half price day soon
But then we could... Offer Kids free for the next game with an adult, Mums free for the match after if Dad and Kids come along. Anything that will get new people to the ground.
Can we not do a family day with a Bouncy castle or two for the kids , face painter. Obviously we need to hit all the schools in the area with advanced warning and get a spalsh in the newshopper and SVBT. I would like to see these papers donate the space and have a page feature if we tried to do this.
Also anyone that comes in with a flyer we can give half price admission to a future game, then we get 1 full price and one half price from each flyer. On the half priced ticket voucher have a place for their name and address and add them to a mailing list

Its a pity we are away on 2nd October as 3rd is Grandparents Day. Could have offered paying kids to bring their grandparents on a 2 for the price of 1. Its something that could be looked at for next year I suppose.

My dear Mr Squarevanman, you make a good point, however,
At 157 years old I still love my grandparents to bits but when I called them and asked if they wanted to go, Grandma said she was going shoplifting with her mother and Grandpa told me that he was going Millwall with his uncle.

The danger with that is that people who were coming anyway might have used these and ended up costing the club money!!!
