i think perhaps some questions need to be asked about why Jamie Day is bringing back in a big name player(Pires) when the team, especially the boy healy, have been doing so well without him!!
what is that saying about the team, once they are able to sign big name players again and all of the financial problems have lifted all the hard working ones that got them in a good position are sacrificed. i think the current crop of players we have at the moment are talented enough to take us into the next division and do well there too.
now Im not doubting Pires's ability the boy is a real talent but i think that Healy was playing extremely well and as a whole sometimes even removing one player upsets the balance in a side.

We all know you are Mr Healy's greatest supporter, if you aren't the man himself. I do think Joe was unlucky though. I can understand that Jamie wanted to play Pires who impressed when he came on the previous week, and indeed scored. Personally I think that he could have dropped some-one else who shall not be mentioned on this forum.

However we are a squad - it's a long season (hopefully) and players can expect to spend some time on the bench. We have done really well this season and I for one do not feel in a position to criticise or undermine Jamie in any way. What he has done has been incredible if you look at where we were when he took over. IMO we must put our faith in him and not be questioning his decison making whilst things are going so well.

Clarke is a great player but doesnt seem fit i think thats where we were out battled at braintree. What confuses me is you have a right back on the bench and play crackers at full back.

I would have played femi to cover for Coylie and had Crackers in the middle where he was good last year.

As for taking the penalty, if Pughie, Clarke or Crackers wanted it they should have grabbed the ball. We have 4 players who could take the pens. Loick was brave enough to step up, the kick was ok but maybe Clarke is more experienced in "sending the keeper".

We have Coylie back now and Jack is back in a week and Clarkey will be getting fitter so we need to move on and learn if things happen again.

Jamie is new to Management and gets more right than he gets wrong and did what he felt was best, you only learn from life when things dont go to plan.

3 Points at Weston and lets kick on.

We have a good squad, Jordan did well against Chelmsford, Femi came in and did well. Ben Billings has done some good stuff. Jamie if he had the chance again MAY have eased in Loick and Clarkey with 20 mins as impact players. Its easy to say that after the event or from the terraces. Healy wont be going nowhere if we pay of the debt and get investment. Hes proven he is a class player on the left at this level and has found his position.

But Daisy is a superb Manager and he and his coaches are a huge bonus for us. He just tried to give us a boost by bringing back players, it never came off but he did it with best intentions, its no bad thing as they wil both have gained fitness and both are class players.

What is a test is how you bounce back from a loss , so i expect us coming out all guns blazing, confident and passing it and using our pace at Weston. Luis Cumbers and Pughie will destroy a team soon if we put it into their feet and pass in midfield as we have done at times and looked absolutely sensational. We can win this league.

I wasn't referring to Clarke - I think he is a great player and adds a lot to the team. Surprised he isn't our penalty taker as he scored a few last year.

A fit clarke would be in my team every time. He will be fit soon and will have needed some minutes to get sharp.
