I believe the budget has gone back to the set budget for this season but i am prepared to learn otherwise.
What is factual is the players do not have to take pay cuts, at the same time any of those that do would greatly help the cause. I would say that a few of them love playing for the club and may be in a position to do so.
If they want to do it then that time is now with 9 weeks left.
With 6 weeks left its possible to play for nothing and raise 27k so im not sure if thats what the guys have planned, if its needed? Or there could be 30-40% voluntary pay cuts to raise £16,000 if you start now.
None of this can be demanded or expected but on the figures above it would be a great help. And would go a massive way to giving us time to build after we get past december 1st.
Good piece from Parky there. Onwards and upwards.
