Has anybody ever wriiten, and had published, a comprehensive history of the Wings? I just wondered whether a few of us (me included) could research and write such a book or booklet - with pics, supporters' memories of games, interviews with the Hobbins family, past and present players and so on. It will be a long haul, so not necessarily an immediate fundraiser - but it could boost future funds. Any opinions?

I always wondered if Barrie kept yearly scrapbooks etc and figures for appearances and goals and if someone could produce a history in printed form.
If a take over happens , i would think one of the TV Channels would be interested in doing a programme or a big feature as part of a programme on the Hobbins and the club.
Not many teams go from the park to the conference in 23 years and then 16 years later are challenging to return there.

I am sure that Barrie would be more than happy to add his tuppence worth
