Quotes from his message: "I am involved in a new venture called SportsKnockout.com which is a sports prediction website that launched this week."
"I am keen to increase the numbers to our site and we have decided to contact a few football forums to see if they would be interested in promoting us on their site and perhaps setting up a thread just for SportsKnockout.com"
In return for this we would give you (or whoever administers the site) a Promo code that would give your users free credits so that they could play the PRO LEAGUE for free for a week or two."
I had not yet replied and the joker posts in the guise of a fan letting others know about a site he has found.
Knowing the facts the post offends the terms of use of the forum, and in view of the deception by the poster for commercial gain he is banned.
I cannot stop any of the forum viewers from participating in this scheme but would advise them to ensure that they are aware of all the conditions of participation before signing up.

There are so many scammers with websites that pop up. None are regulated and if you want to predict things join the many fantasy football games or have some small bets with standard bookies.
Most of them all pretend to have spotted some fantastic site, but they are only spamming for mugs in desperation.
I wouldnt touch sites like this with a bargepole i suspect some are also only set up to get your details.
