A case of sour grapes then. How many times have we had p**y officials at PVR? Their claim for not a penalty is a joke. We need to do what other teams do and get in the refs face - claim as they do, for everything, that way, we might be fortunate enough to get results in our favour. Basingstoke got stuffed by the better side on the day - end of
95% of people moan when they are beaten and its all the ref's fault ... most of our supporters do it too. Gone are the days of being beaten by the better team, as with the claims culture, there is apparently always someone else to blame.
I think we have wised up a bit, for so long we tried to stay on our feet and you get nothing for it. If they foul us go down (Especially within 30 yards as we have Daisy, Loick and Parky all good free kick takers), that isnt to say dive as thats wrong and should be punished.
I think we havent had the rub of the green this season with refs by a long way (Stonewall pens ignored or cynical challenges not punished when our players have been kicked, pulled or elbowed), all we want is consistency and the big decisions right more often than not.
Not one ref this season have i come away from a match thinking he was good.

Having watched Welling for 22 years I can safely say that I could count the number of decent refs/linesmen on one hand. At this level they are just not very good I'm afraid.
