Still 0-0 Kedwell drew a great save from their keeper then hade another effort deflected. Ding have gad a good chance too. Kedwell playing very well by all accounts.

Not looking good Yeading winning 1-0. Kedwell missed chances. Our midfield has been bossed at home. Yeading beating us at home does not auger well for the season.

We had more than a few chances which went begging today and although we weren't playing as a team we could have had 3 points had it not been for Yeadings keeper. Equally it could be argued that had Yeading been a better team the space we allowed their players on the left flank would almost certainly have resulted in more than a one goal deficit.
What I can't understand is why with 15 minutes to go we committed everybody forward giving Yeading the opportunity to break out and score. I would have understood it had it been trying to get a result in the dying minutes of a game with a 0-0 scoreline but a s*-* or bust play with 15 minutes to go baffled me, and Jamie Turner, judging by his reaction to having no defender to clear the ball after he had pushed the initial Yeading shot against the bar.
I know that Gledhill, Perkins and Day were all reported as being doubtful starters in the week but they all started with only Daisy, who worked his socks off, not making the full 90 minutes. If the three of them are carrying injuries I feel that they should have been benched today and we should have gone with a makeshift side by starting Watts, Lawson, and D Moore and bringing all or any of them off the bench if they were needed.
I would question the relevance of Ade's comment about the fans expectations having gone through the roof. This season we have a squad which has proven itself to be more capable than last seasons but today for whatever reason they failed to produce the goods. Of course we are going to lose matches this season but as far as this supporter is concerned its not about losing itself but how we lose, and with all due respect to Yeading they didn't look like a top side but they managed to make us look less than average.
In the context of the season this loss is insignificant and certainly shouldn't dampen the supporters hopes of a playoff place come next April.
Heres to a team performance and 3 points on Monday.
