Will there be a press conference when the new investors take over? I hope we can get some white napkins sorted out and some bottles of some poncey water.
Dave Budden can do the photos and we will get some high definition video. Also i will invite Matt Davison and send him a sat nav so radio kent can find Welling.

The club have said things are progressing, so we need to keep the faith, we cant do a lot else.
If the worst came to the worst and the club went under at least theres loads of money raised by the appeal and AFC Welling can form.
Im pretty sure that the investors will take over, im not sure its all as cut and dried as we are made to believe, i think theres a bit of cat and mouse going on and in the absense of any hard news basically since negotiations started, i think thats a logical assumption/guess.
Whatever happens if it went wrong it would be annoying to be told at the last minute.
We have 4 scenarios
Takeover completes Club gets a time extention on the debts (possible but not sure weve paid anything off the debt since August) Club goes under and is wound up and new club is formed by supporters. Club goes into administration and is relegated, loses squad, carries on as normal but at lower level and basically is finished.
I think Stafford had it righjt when he told me at the start... "This is who blinks first" .. lets hope one of them does blink.
