The mind boggles at what we the fans could have done for the club if we had been told about the financial troubles at the club, months before we actually were. Don't forget they only told us because they had to, not because they wanted to. If they had been more honest and sooner, extra pre season friendlies could have been arranged, as all sorts of clubs would have wanted teams to play and try their own players out. A big clubs youth team would have brought in lots of money, Arsenals did!
Sod the HMRC debt, we have been operating at a 50k loss for two years, why was nothing said two years ago ?? A problem cannot be solved if you are not aware it exists.
Now imagine how much money could have been raised in those two years?!!! Think how much money could have been collected in those collection buckets at the ground over the course of a whole season. A vastly improved clubshop, sorted out two years earlier than it was would have raked in tons of cash. Oh there are so many things that could and would have been done, but the Hobbins' wanted to sort everything out themselves for what reason, ego?

agree with both of yours and Kevin's posts
so much COULD have been done as we had plenty of time to spare but noone was told and we still arent being told anything (that useless statement doesnt count)
we'll probably go bankrupt and the club wont let us know and we will only find out on saturday when we try to get into the ground at 3pm and the gates are locked!!

That's if the game isn't cancelled because of the weather. It would be interesting if we survive Wednesday, and there is deep snow in the ground and the club ask fans to come along with shovels to help clear the pitch. 'Oh NOW they want our help' i would think :D I wonder how many people would actually turn up!
