so new investors came in, which bought some time. and the club want to use this time to find the cash to possably avoid using them?

is that how im reading it?

I read it as the potentail investors lets us down (again) and a new batch of investors have come on the scene, but a deal wont be done in two weeks so the club want to beg, borrow money to pay the tax off and then hopefully get taken over by this new investment.

I think the club will be explaining what the last investors did to us at the meeting... plus expanding on teh fresh investor. They must be interested to come in at the last minute.

So finally, some clarification.
We're told something we all suspected: we were being tucked up by 'new investors'.
The good news being that there is potentially new investors but fans still being asked for money and new ideas for me shows that hopes of these investors stumping up the readies are pretty flimsy.

In an account i believe although i believe appx 9k of that went to the HMRC. Russ or someone may post up if there is any money floating about and where it is.
