At some point we'll have to cut money somewhere, so might as well start now. I believe we could get rid of some our players and still make the play offs, so if some don't want to take a pay cut, they can leave and go somewhere else.
Thats my point say well the budget is coming down so who will accept 33% less for the rest of the season. Those that cant or wont then they will go and bring in players on 33% of what they were on. You wont get away with losing 3 or 4 of the best players and replacing them with the academy players. Jamie said they will take cuts so i am optimistic that they will take the cuts and we will keep nearly all of them.
We can still make the play offs with this squad.
Cutting the bugdet this week will show the hmrc and other clubs we are trying to sort things.

Bare in mind we havent used one loan signing yet ... we could easily lose a few players, save 1000 a week, and then get the likes of Jenkinson in recent years in on loan/work experience for 50 a week if that.
My understanding is it is pay 59k or you are dead. PR is not going to be worth a fig. (I may be wrong)
The players can't be daft, they will know something like that is likely to happen so I don't see it makes sense to do it before Luton. It wont affect the court appearance and you are reducing your chances of winning the prize money and\or a replay for the sake of a few days. JgFc can calculate the odds of what you pay to potentially gain but you may never get to a position to win this chunk of money again with a squad capable of doing it.
