That is surely what this is all about. It may sound stupid but I was moved watching the video and was thinking of loads more amazing moments that could have been on there. It's why I support Welling.

Great video James.  There are some good memories there.  It is a shame we do not have much footage of the club's earlier days.

I have been watching the Wings for 32 years and can remember the very early days at PVR in the John Bartley era starting with the Spartan and Athenian leagues.  People talk about if the club folds we can always reform as AFC Welling or something similar and play at Step 5 or 6.  I don't want that.  Us fans remaining from the late 70s and early 80s have been there and done that.

We all know that the running of the club is far from perfect and that changes have to happen.  I think the first steps towards that are beginning.  As long as Welling United continues to exist things can improve.

I really hope that people will get their loans and donations off to the club's solicitors over the next few days so that come December 15 the full £59k is available, the case has to be dismissed and it is not up to the whim of the judge, who might be having a bad day, to decide whether in a few weeks we will be enjoying matches against the likes of Dartford and Bromley or sitting at home in front of the telly.

Another great piece of work carried out by James. Every club needs someone with your skills and enthusiasm, so our club is really lucky to have you do this for us all. Well done mate.
