Not sure if sacked with Hughton or walked out.

The sacking of Hughton was a disgrace.

Newcastle is a farce. Paul Barron is widely considered one of the best goalkeeper coaches in the country - their loss I suppose, he will easily get employment elsewhere I'd have thought.

Besides being one of the top goalkeeping coaches, he is also a really nice bloke. Lets hope he gets fixed up with a new club fairly soon.

If he's stuck for something to do until he gets his next paying job, then maybe he could help coach our goalkeepers at all age levels :D

I don't get that whole thing. Sacking him for someone with more managerial experience, then going for Pardew...Who, in turn, gets a 5 and a half year contract, when they apparently offered Jol 6 months on a result basis??

I have no clue what Ashley's doing up there, but it ain't making sense...

When Pardew was manager of Reading and we played them in the FA Cup he showed total disrespect to the Welling lads after the game so i hope he falls flat on his arse at Newcastle. Up there they know their football and they wont put up with him for very long.

He was a non league player who thinks hes the dogs nutts, much like Hessenthaler.

What gets me is Managers like this and Curbishley get long term contracts, get sacked then pick up another one soon after being sacked, released or failing.

Blame the chairman for signing them, its the only job in the world you can perform shyte in and some other mug will pick you up on more money soon after.

Has the sweepstake started yet on which one of the Newcastle WAG's will be 'visited' by Mr Pardew.....

Andy Carroll must have a few he could pass on..
