7k to go. Then the club get the gate money from the luton game (and win money if we play with freedom or they play a weakened side) to have some stability leading up to the big xmas derbies.
Absolutely amazing.

Im shocked, truly shocked at the amount raised. Well done to everyone who has contributed anything from a penny to thousands. We're a great non-league club for a reason. Lets top it all off with going up.

Should we survive this, will the club still be seeking funds from the fans, and what sort of fund raising initiatives will still be running? I'm proper brassic right now but i get my Christmas bonus 2 days after the hearing and would love to contribute somehow.

I think Jamie has the easiest team talk in the country on Sunday he has not got to speak - just write the figure the fans have raised on the tactic board - enough said.
Luton have given permission to film, Dont sell any of the DVDs we do, but if it was a great game i could ask them after if they will allow it but its completely up to them and i wouldnt bank on it as i havent asked them for permission to sell or produce DVDs.
Just happy to film it to get the highlights for the Official Site but will have a chat with them on SUNDAY see what they say and go with what they tell me i can do.
Whos got the best view in the ground on Sunday... Ner Ner

Maybe someone like JGFC could make a documentary about Welling United getting into trouble with the taxman and (i assume now) surviving. All the main people involved (including Dan Chapman) could do interviews, and others like Jamie and some of the more prominent members of the squad could air their views as well. Also, talk about the troubles with the HMRC could be interspersed with footage of all the games Welling have played during the period since we found out what was going on, to show how the players have responded to the crisis. The dvd would of course be sold in the clubshop. A possible idea for the future :)
