In a nut shell - it was agreed to form a commitee with the aim to set up a new supporters assocation - with agreement from Barry that it could have a representive place on the board.
an interim 8 person committee was elected from fans in the room to set up the association. It was decided that the newly formed commitee would meet up and device a constitution for the Assocation - once this is agreed and written, they would call a meeting with the supporters and present it to supporters for their approval and ratification.
As morph states the assembly voted to form Welling United Supporters Association and to elect an interim committee that would serve until the first AGM in the summer, it being emintently sensible for a football club supporters association to run its affairs in tandem with the football season. It was also agreed that the chairman would be the supporters association representative under the club's new constitution. Nominations were taken and a show of hands made to elect the following:

This committee was due to meet last Tuesday to draft a constitution for approval at a subsequent meeting but the FA Trophy replay put paid to that so we are currently trying to establish a date when we are all available to do so.

Sorry I cannot give you a better answer than that. but as Russ pointed out, we were due to meet up and draft a constitution last Tuesday but the Luton game was on, this was going to be our first meeting, we are hoping to meet up this week ? Thursday weather permitting - once we have met up to discuss and swap idea's, we will be in a better position to release details
All I can say at this stage - it was agreed with our fellow supporters that once a Supporters Association constitution has been drafted, a meeting for supporters will be called and be asked to ratifiy it. - early January (weather permitting.) Q and A can be raised then.
