We are hooking the ball and giving it away. With Pires not playing there's no one getting on the end of the long balls. We just played it on the deck and had a good chance, put just wide. We don't look as up for this as Dartford at the moment. We need one of our second halfs.
Sheringham just did a very late challenge on Coyle. Deserved a booking but didn't get one. We're now starting to play our normal game and creating a bit more.
battered them. I would like to salute sammy and clarkey for getting out of the sick bed and sweating blood. Parky too but he is a commando so he would play with no legs. Our midfield were superb and cumbers ran for 93 mins what effort he puts in. Goals in 2 hrs highlights v late or sunday

I can't single out one player for man of the match today. They were all great and there wasn't a single bad performance. Very proud of them. Ref mad some funny calls for both sides. A clown. Talking of clowns, their goalkeeper..............!!!!!!
great result - the failings of the club were shown up again with a massive queue to get in before the game(was 5 mins late) - is it so difficult to open up the other turnstyles? plus the farce with the clubhouse as usual - why not open up e+b as there was going to be a big crowd?
as usual the club is a total joke off the field but on the field we got another fantastic result!
Poor by Birchall, Acheampong sheilded the ball away, it broke away and Daisy brushed birchalls heel with the ball long gone and safe , Birchall went down like a bag of maris piper and Venamore took center stage, its even questionable if it started inside the box. Horrendous gaff from Venamore but we are used to them.
Goals should be up 9 ish. Full highlights very late tonight or in morning.

Couldn't agree more with the previous post, makes us look like a Kent league club. There must be a reason we didn't open the Erith bar, any cost incurred would be made up in profit.Surely its worth a bit of effort for the extra money we would have made? In the main stand bar it looked very difficult to get served. Its little things like this that put the casual supporter off. Club couldn't organise the proverbial booze up, roll on any changes in club structure.

im totally fed up with it all now given our recent problems and im seeing all the stuff ive never noticed before
eg programmes being sold out early when it was obvious we would have a big crowd so why not print more? the bar situation, the tannoy being crap, that queue before the game
we are a joke of a club off the field but as i said on it we are fantastic so i shouldnt complain too much!
Good performance today. The first 5 minutes were a worry but the following hour was just about all Welling, although Dartford were poor.
As for the criticisms can "we" open the Erith bar? Its not our bar, we don't own any of the stock in it, presumably they would have to staff it and would keep the profit, so you might question whats in it for us.
why cant a compromise be met? a simple conversation saying that we split the profits or something similar and both clubs gain considering the amount of people that would have used it today everyone would have been a winner
but i forgot let's blindly defend the running of the club when only a blind man couldnt see the failings

Maybe because of our recent problems we aren't printing more programmes than we are likely to sell and a new tannoy costs money we haven't got. As for the queue I got there 25 minutes early and there was no queue so I'm not sure it was worth opening additional turnstiles for the late rush.
Totally agree with you J. I also see Hobbins taking money straight from the turnstiles into his pockets, what's that all about? Fair enough it's his money, but surely he should put it into a bag or something, bit more professional than shovelling it into your pocket.

Yeah much better to criticise from a position of ignorance and do nothing to help change things which is par for the course on here.

Andrew - Couldnt agree with you more.
rubbish.
im a paying customer - why should i have to help out?
just seems to me as usual the indefensible is being defended - the queues happen every time we have a big crowd so surely the extra turnstyle could have been opened or at least put on standby just incase
and from Trundle im sorry but that just looks awful - ffs cant the club get ANYTHING right?
