Yesterday my 10 year old son Jake was mascot for the day.

The Mrs & I would just like to say a big, big thank you to all the players & staff at the club for making it such a special day for him, & making us all feel so welcome.

He had a great afternoon & says his favourite part was lining up with the players & doing the handshake walk.

He did make Jack Parkinson laugh when the announcer said that Jake's favourite player is 'Clarky', Jack joked to him 'that's disgraceful'. biggrin

All in all a great day was had by all, & Jake has great fond memories.

Thanks DK & BKK

Rest assured he will be a life long supporter now!
I have been taking him for the last few seasons on & off & this year is his first (& mine) as a season ticket holder.

He is as some of you on here know - very passionate & loud when supporting the club.
He has most def' seen that Welling & non-league is the way ahead. biggrin
Now he is looking forward to Thurrock away Sat', smile
