That does not surprise me there where some right looney tune Thurrock fans there yesterday. Not sour grapes they put the ball in the net twice we only once had we taken our chances it would have been a cricket score. Also had the game been played on our pitch instead of a cattle field I have no doubt we would have won. Maybe we need to adapt our game to a cattle field as we are going to be coming up against a few of these pitches because of the weather and time of year.

Probably the same moron on the confsouth forum who thinks Thurrock deserved it, played the better football and that Welling were over physical.
I would put the vast majority of our booking down as either harsh, or a collison of two players due to the state of the pitch .. its obvious there will be more slides and slips when they present us with an allotment to play on.
Anyhow, we were sh*t, but if you are going to drop points then at least we havent dropped them to a playoff rival ... lets get up for Dover on Saturday and get back up the table.
I read that report, & yeah its a joke... I have heard that the NL Paper can't always get a reporter to each game, so they ask a home offical to give them their report - hence the bias bull**** printed. How true that is I don't know?
Sorry but the ref ruined the game, fullstop. Its been years since I can remember such a poor display by the ref...

A reason I have never bought the NLP, its just full of tripe. Read the reports you need online and you can get a point of view from both sides of the fence.
appx 20 mins of highlights coming tonight... we played ok dont worry about that. Only diving..snidey challenges, a bog of a pitch and a bad ref put us off our stride.
Teams down the bottom get a win and think theyve turned into brazil. We played decent yesterday in adversity as the highlights will show.
Their Number 11 dived at least 3 times to try and get a decision, cracknell went in for afters a few times and received warnings from the ref before finally getting a booking for "pushing the ref" and not going over healy for the penalty, he wasnt getting booked for that until he lightly pushed the ref.... despite his constant fouls all game.
I struggled to find any chances for thurrock. Some of our bookings were merited some were questionable and some were outrageous. What is not in doubt was the ref changed the game and Thurrock were trying to get us booked , the ref fell for it. Parkys booking was only after their number 10 went to teh ref to get jack booked.

Just decided that i will cut the highlights down a bit as i dont want to give Dover too much of a look at us.. 20 mins of the best bits is like sending martin hayes a dvd before the game. .
Will post shorter highlights early evening from Thurrock game.

In our league the reports are written by someone from the home team (Paul Carter does the Welling ones).
When we were due to visit Borehamwood they could not supply one and I was due to cover it for them.
Most people avoid blatant bias but there are a few who cannot.
