Kevin and I have been speaking to the club about stocking Real Ale in the bottle bar for half time. We will have a selection of 3 or 4 different ale's (I will give you a list tomorrow evening) for Saturday's game selling for £2.50.  The service is pretty rapid meaning you will have plenty of time to enjoy your drink!

This will be a trial for Saturday's game but if they sell well, we will look into having them at every match

Cheers

Deano

As it will be a big attendance on Saturday the bottle bar will be open for half an hour prior to the game, during half-time, and more than likely for a short while after the game with the meeting at 5.30pm in mind.

Come and get drunk at the bottle bar ...

Dean,

True bottled real ale (whch will be marked 'bottle conditioned' or 'Real Ale in a bottle) needs to be poured carefully in one slow steady movement. If you have any of that in can I suggest you hand to customers to pour their own otherwise the queue will be held up considerably.

Will you be advised if there is a barrel of ale when you find out what bottled beers are available?

See you tomorrow

Mark

Good evening,

So for tomorrow's bottle bar i've picked up bottles of

Greene King's Abbot's Ale
Badger's Fursty Ferret
Wychwood Brewery's Goliath
Badgers Original Ale
Marstons Pedigree
Shepherd Neame Spitfire
Badger Tanglefoot

As well as Becks and Budweiser for your Lager types!

Hope there is something to suit everyone's taste!

The real ale at the main bar (72 pints) sold out and I think 31 out of 46 bottles went.

Sounds successful to me!!

we made a profit with a significant amount of stock left over for next time, so I think its safe to say that this will continue, assuming we have the blessing of the club.
