Hopefully a few down there to see a young Wings X1 in the kent cup.

Wonder if Healy will play too as he will be out for 3 games shortly.

Jordan, Liam, Anthony would figure probably

Will try and get some updates up should be interesting, hope we have one or two with a bit of promise for the future.

When does the Healey ban start. I hoped that it may be immediatley and this would count as one of the games. If not the game at Thamesmead?

Usually 14 days before the ban kicks in at this level.

Therefore Healy misses H & R, Dartford and Maidenhead.....

The Oyster Boys usually provide a good local crowd so you should not get lonely.  On top of that we will be looking for pay back for the the ruthless way you treated us last time we met in this competition.  Oh well!

If you get into town early you will find a couple of WTFC fans in the Labour Club (12 Belmont Road).  Good real ale and lager if you must and there will be someone there to sign you in.

2 0 down ht goals 30 and 45. Our kids were best team first 20. Went sleep twice to give goals away. Whits just on top but the youngsters done ok bar two bits of slack defending.

Youngsters lost 3-0 , 3-0 flattered whitstable, we gave them 2 goals , we missed a sitter in second half. Acheampong and Bellamy played the whole game.

We had our young left back sent off after 80 mins for a late tackle and after that Whitstable put a few tasty tackles in, when there was no need for it.

Some promise without being dazzling, the wings number 2 looked a decent prospect and a good player and for me our man of the match and 4 played ok too (apparantly hes an academy boy when most of the others are sevenoaks lads i think) . Acheampong was captain and was booked aswell for a tackle i think but not certain.

We werent disgraced and perhaps Whitstable deserved to win by a goal maybe 2, they were more experienced as you would expect.

Enjoyed match.  Started with three trialists and gave a match to another three bench players and all of Town players took there chance against our glorious betters and 3 nil was fair.

Could have had a couple more but this season's finishing has been crap and Welling got no chances at all.

Except the sitter they (welling) missed in the second half. Welling's team had just one player over 19 in the whole squad. Nice to use the youngsters in a cup that is a distraction. Hope the kids get a run out in the London Senior Cup too. Nice for Whitstable they get a day out at Dartford in the next round, good luck to them.

There will be some highlights, but my email is down and i am waiting for a team sheet to be sent. So the highlights may not be available for a day or two. I asked for one at the ground a couple of times, then left a message asking for one to be emailed, if my email comes back and there isnt one there... i will just do some highlights untitled etc.

This might help for your video highlights (from http://www.whitstabletownfc.co.uk/2011/first-team/cornhill-brace-sets-up-dartford-match/ .)

Cornhill brace sets up Dartford match:
Posted by pressofficer on February 2nd, 2011
Whitstable Town 3 Welling 0: Two goals from Gareth Cornhill and a late strike by Ian Pulman sent Town into the next round of the Kent Senior Cup where they will face Dartford away at Princes Park in the next round. New signings James Pea****, Butch; Ulph and Peter Hawkins all impressed as did Dan Wisker who looked to be back to the sort of form he showed in pre-season, maybe the injury that he seemed unable to shake off is finally behind him and we will see Wisker putting in more shifts like he did today.

Coach Steve Nolan said after the game: Dan did very well I think that as he gets fitter, more minutes on the pitch we will see more performance like tonight from Dad, I was pleased for him.

Picture: Gareth Cornhill by Per Laleng: Another to stamp his mark on the game was Scott Heard, full of running and amazingly for his size wining a number of important headed challenges. Pulman and Stuart Vahids contribution to the win should not be overlooked, but having said that the whole side played well, with pace and a commitment that at times Whitstable have lacked this season. Welling put out a mixed side with some young players keen to impress and they knocked the ball about in some style, were well organised and were a good test for Town. Match report to follow: (c) WTFC
