Lets hope Frosty can help get one over his old club. Good time to get back to winning ways and close the gap, with sides looking to drop points elsewhere tonight. Is Stella back? Loick? Jordan? Or is the embargo off? Get down to PVR to find out innit... (Or why dont you phone the club)
Will try and get updates up here, but all Bromley fans should get down to PVR.
COME ON YOU WINGS!!

1 sub daisy. Sammy out healy out and emergency signing from academy starts. Conference refused any other signings. Wankers of the highest order in birmingham. Despite us having only ten able to play and payment plan with hmrc.

We are going to struggle tonight I think with the team we've got, but I'm sure it won't be through lack of trying from our players. Starting 11: Walker, Coyle, Bellamy, Acheampong, Andrews, Parkinson, Fazakerley, Clarke, Cumbers, Pugh, Farrell. Sub: Day
just had the ball in the net, but the ref had already blown for offside. We're the better team so far, but again can't translate it into clear chances and goals.
Our best chances have come from set pieces, including a long throw from Bellamy. Bromley are defending ok, apart from the set pieces where they struggle.
One nil to Bromley. Scored from a corner, which we did not defend well. Looks like the same story as the last couple of home matches: dominating the match and ending up a goal down.
Floodlights still out. Please don't let this be abandoned with us being two one up so near to the end! Whatever happens, I'm so proud of the performance of our players tonight and just hope we can get these lights back on so we can get the three points we deserves. By the way, Jamie Day's wife had a little boy tonight. Contrats to the Days.

I think there must be a curse on Welling this season but what a tremendous performance from the team tonight.
The youngsters that came in did well and Luis and Loui were absolutely outstanding. The team must be gutted after such a great effort and two great goals are wiped from the records.
None of this free entry or shared gate.... PLEASE!!!
If we get say 600 in for the replayed game, thats going to give us 6 weeks of the grand a week we have been losing and ensure the players get paid (im including bar. shop, programmes etc in that) . Very poor turn out from Bromley today about 50 behind the goal and a very few in the stand, IF you make it free, loads of them will turn up and support their team, another negative against us. We need every penny we can get, do league rules state after half time no refunds? Well the conference are so good at screwing us with league rules and their weird decisions... lets stick to them and earn money out of it and get a little bit back.
ALL PAY... If Bromley had a few hundred there tonight. i can half see why you would make it free, cant see how on earth it can be shared, thats just a farce its a home game.
I really cant see why the replayed game isnt of 2.30 and 3 minutes injury time if they (conference) want to share the gate or make it free entry... sorry but sod em. but they came for a draw had a nosebleed if they got in our half and remember the added time is THEIR SUBS, we werent allowed any....

Not sure what it was but something happened between Luton and York (could have been snow) and there was a lot of animosity about a replay with a shared gate. I am not sure if the Conference said it had to be or if York asked for it. Fraid I didn't take much notice at the time.
Can someone explain the rule of abadonment then? I did think there was an amount of time that the game had to play for the result to stand...Or am I making this up?
One sub as well, well done Conference, going back to park football days. We'll be getting ringers next. F*cktards.
First things first theres no doubt which team most wanted to win. We looked a decent mid table side with little to play for, you played like you were fighting for promotion or survival. I was worried when I found out you had no subs, as that sort of thing can give a siege mentality & it certainly did. Id have been proud to have been a Welling fan watching that performance. At least the lights gave us Bromley fans something to smile about, as we didnt get too much from the team.
I was by the Bromley officials & they said they thought it would have to be replayed & we get a % of the receipts. Regardless of performance, we were one goal down, & if our midfield actually managed to pass the ball forwards in the last few mins, the result may have changed. 2 or more goals behind is another story (morally if not legally) & I would have no objection if Bromley had agreed for the result to stand in that instance.
I think the cut of the gate receipts is a fair procedure even if in this instance its negligible travel involved. Luckily we only had to travel 20mins or so, & we as fans get no benefit at all from any cut of the receipts as we all have to pay another £11. But if you put yourselves in say Westons shoes, the costs of a coach a 2nd time would be pretty high so why should the opposition pay again & you get the benefits of a 2nd gate income & it was your fault the game was abandoned. I use the word fault loosely whilst we can wonder about a conspiracy theory of the lights failing when youve got major financial concerns, if you can keep the players fit, youre more likely to get an extra game or 2 via play offs if you play like that, so no reason to pull the plug out last night. But at the same time, if there's no rule about sharing the gate, whats to stop a club doing that on purpose when theyre in financial trouble? I dont believe for one second any true Welling fan would have wanted that to happen, but a cash-strapped board might like the idea of an extra home game, so something needs to be in place to prevent it.
Anyway, look forward to another battle at Welling when hopefully all our team will be awake this time, & genuinely hope you have some subs next time as you might not play with the same mentality as last night!

You are quite correct to quote Luton v York as a precedent. A blizzard put paid to the game after Luton had put in a tremendous effort to get the pitch playable. It was abandoned at or near half time. The Conference ruled that the replay should be treated as if it were a cup tie with everyone having to pay (including season ticket holders) and the net receipts equally divided. Luton defied the Conference over the matter of season ticket holders having to pay but I do not know the outcome of this.
From Luton's website ; -
17 Jan 2011 Luton Town will grant season ticket holders free entry to Tuesday's clash with York City, despite a Football Conference ruling to the contrary.
Nuneaton v Worcester about 4 years ago, lights failed 5 mins left... Match replayed conference set entry and after expenses gate receipts shared. Stalybridge v Southport lights failed 83 mins match replayed.
Cretinous rule, bromley are local what if they want to book a coach when they didnt have one last night?
