Lots of people come on here and moan about how bad the club is at communicating with us but the Supporters Association doesn't really appear to be much better. No update from the last meeting (etc) yet. If we are going to maintain momentum and try to change things for the better then surely the Supports Association needs to maintain a decent profile. Sorry to be controversial........

My fault - I took minutes at the meeting after Braintree but ran out of time to get them online before disappearing to a wedding down under.

And since when did Australia become as expensive as Scandinavia? £6.50 a pint takes some swallowing.

Paid £8 for a so called pint in Norway last year dread to think what it will be next month when I go back.

Try £9.70 for a pint of Norrebru Stout at their stand in Copenhagen airport in 2008! Had been a more manageable £7 the night before in the brewery tap. It is however rather good!

Didn't get much change out of  £13 in 2003 for two pints of Stor in Oslo so, with the pound bombiing, eight sheets is quite competitive. You can however take it I will not be getting paralytic in Skien after the Odd Grenland vs Rosenborg game in May though!

I once got a Carlesberg for £3.20 and was so pi55ed I didnt notice until it was too late that I was short-changed by a tenner from the £20 Id paid with. Technically therefore it cost me £13.20. Beat that smile.gif

My daughter got married in Mexico. Being the father of the bride I paid for the reception. The only beer i found drinkable was bottled Sol.
I had two bottles so I recon I paid 4.5k for a pint of crap larger. Beat that.

The flip was getting to know the staff at the Student's Union in Trondheim and spending several evenings getting seriously wazzocked in their private bar after the main bar shut. On average, 5 hours drinking per night for £4!

I had a pint of Ruddles in The Paper Moon in Dartford on Thursday and it was only £1.49.

They're keeping prices low because of the competition from the pub opposite.

I think I paid about £11 a pint at monaco airport. I offered to buy 9 clients a drink out of my own pocket but when I saw the bill it quickly went on my company card!

Beer is relatively expensive in Norway because of the high levels of suicide brought on by the low daylight hours in winter. Beer is scientifically known as a depressant thus the government has put high levels of tax on beer to discourage consumption.

I knows and you knows that this is a FACT.

A bit like our government putting high taxes on fuel to stop us using too much. And we all believe that don't we?

Beer certainly doesn't make me depressed. It has the opposite effect.

Or as my Trondheim associate would put it "None of this Mediterranean pussy sh*t, we Northerners drink to get drunk!"
