We owe them one for the game at their gaff, loads of support that day and we never got going really.

Is it 3pm Kick off? Some Bromley know all reckons weve been told to kick off ALL home games at 2pm as we havent got a certificate for the floodlights... (I know load of crap...)

Big week for us this week, do what we do normally and show the effort and composure and a possible 6 points cements us right in the play offs and puts the pressure on those chasing and could put some more space between us.

Chance to get a gap today by winning, Eastleigh game off. lets get those points on the board and make these teams have to win games in hand, especially when they will be playing games thick and fast to catch up.

We're seeing the good side of Pires so far today; let's hope he can keep it up for 90 minutes.

We've been the better side, but Weston don't look a bad team. We've been restricted to speculative long range efforts and a couple of headers over from corners.
Weston look quite pacy in attack so we need to watch for the counter. They don't seem to defend corners too well, though, so that looks like the most likely way we'll score at the moment.

I think if it hadn't been for their number 4, Craig Rand the score would have been higher. He was by far their best player and everytime one of our attacks was broken down he was in the thick of it. Good player and about the only one of their players not trying to be a ref.

Their number 7 was a disgrace with the mouthing off he was doing and was eventually warned by the ref about it. Rubbish player so will probably go on to be a ref.

Special Mention for Whitehouse the goal keeper he talked to the defence, was vocal all day and was commanding with puches and claims. He is just what we needed.

Quote of the day to the back four was "Get out of my ****ing box"!

Winning and not playing well is a sign of a good team bring on Bromley!

Good win today, much needed. Acheampong was man of the match today for me, he's been absolutely huge over the last few weeks - definite contender for player of the month

Agree with Christian, Acheampong was solid as a rock today - was a flakey player when he first appeared for us (imho), but with recent performances can command a place in the back four.

A few players having off days - on a good day Pugh would have had at least 2, but as someone said, a good win.

Weston were a good team apart from when they started time wasting and just sitting back trying for a draw for the whole of the second half until we scored. Their 2 and 7 were Braintree material, always mouthing and moaning. 2 should have been booked and sent off for persistant mouthing and fouls. Ref was poor and very weak.

I think if they didnt try and waste time and take a draw it would have been harder to get a win, we were the better team. Acheampong and Clarke were superb today. Whitehouse as said above always talking and vocal and came off his line and commanded his box well.

Yes he was terrible as i expected he would be. Thought you would complain about him, as i saw you give him a really funny look when you walked past with your camera gear while the ref and his two boyfriends were warming up near the clubshop :P

Combined age of Ref and his linesmen was 29 ... i thought Kingsmoor players were warming up. Reports of him from before being weak and a bit wish washy now confirmed, wasnt the worst ref weve had but didnt have control and wasnt consistent. The timewasting he allowed despite telling them to get on with it is a case in point.

Glad for the win today, Weston looked a reasonable side and at least tried to play football. We need sides like them at this level to see a decent game.

Pughy is trying hard to score, maybe at times to the detremwnt of others who could be put in play. It will come which will improve his confidence. Agree Anthony is a no nonsense centre back, wins his headers and clears his lines.

Every one deserves player of the season, but my early vote is going to Clarkey. He wins his tackles gets in positions and gets on witn it, First class performance today from him.

Clarkey for me too. He's been brilliant all season.

Got a harsh booking today when two of their players collided and ref blamed him.

At the moment player of the season for me is between Cumbers, Day and Obersteller but with 4 or 5 right behind them, Wide open and anyone who really starts performing could grab it from the 16 in the squad.

My vote for MOM today also goes to Acheampong.  He's been tremendous since getting his chance.

As others have said Player of the Season is going to be very difficult this year.  At the moment my vote would go to Faz, very narrowly ahead of Jack O.  Can't help noticing how good Faz is in the air.   His timing for headers is brilliant and he often outjumps players who are much taller.

To be fair MOST players are much taller than Faz

For me we look a so much better team with Oberfeuhrer in the team

My shortlist for player of the season at the moment would be, Day, Fazakerley, Obersteller, Pugh and Cumbers. By the end of the season however Acheampong will be in the running for player of the season i am sure, as he is improving dramatically every game. Pires could make it to, but he can be frustrating at times.

Coyle has played Right Back all season and hes a Center Half, the 3 or 4 games hes played Center Half he hasnt given anyone a sniff. I dont think there is one regular starter who isnt in with a shout of Player of the Year. Could be about 3 votes between all of them. Be careful for players buying fans drinks in the bar .... Vote rigging lol.

No one has mentioned the skipper whos played out of position most of the season and always goes mental when he scores and never gives less than 110%, he always gets the fans involved and connects with them and chips in with goals and has done well in midfield and hes shown huge loyalty in the past several times.

And how good has Sambrook been this season? And Healy? Both raised eyebrows when signed in pre season but neither has let us down and have both been match winners with strong performances and performed well all season.

Oh i give up its too hard and it seems unfair leaving players out who have been brilliant this year. Whoever wins this should treasure it. It really is too hard

Acheampong is going from strength to strength and has surely made a centre half spot his own at this point in time.

He is keeping Graham Andrews out the team so he has done well.

Believe Andrews had a slight injury today, but even when he returns I can't see Acheampong being dropped, possibly at the expense of Sambrook
