Certain that some of our play off rivals will drop points tonight with Eastleigh playing Farney and Chelmo playing Total Football Braintree.

Do we want 2 draws or Braintree and Farney to win? Theres commentary on BBC Essex of Chelmo and on Radio Spitfire of Beastleigh.

Lets hope Tomorrows games are the same, Woking playing Websfleet and then we do the business on Wednesday, We will need to be on form as Bromley will feel like they have a free go as they all but lost the last game. I fancy us to be professional and be up for it from the off and keep our great form up.

COYW!!

I would be happy for three teams to pull away so long as they keep beating those below.....that would really help the push....too many draws and we dont get that far away

How on earth can the ref call the game off five minutes before kick off?
I know that we shouldn't rely on other teams results, but it would definitely help us if Eastleigh, Chelmo, Dover etc get clobbered.
Onwards and upwards - oh to get those 5 points back  ( deep sigh emoticon )

The more games called off the better ... at this rate Eastleigh, Havant, etc will have games so frequently they will be f*cked come the run-in.

The one thing that is a slight concern (although I am sure it will be sorted) is that our number of goals has dried up......I felt on Saturday that Pughy for example is so desperate to score that he is trying (no problem with that) to score every time when the better option would be a pass.

We need to muller somebody 4 or 5....that would help confidence

Dont see that Wednesday BUT I can see it Saturday

I agree Mark and was saying something similar on saturday. Although on another day Pugh would have had 2or 3 - after missing 1 or 2 he would normally bury it looked like he wanted top prove a point and made some bad decisions. I think it's a matter of time before we get back to the 3s and 4s from earlier in the season.

The problem would be if we were not creating the chances but we are.

Pugh is a class act but not necessarily an out and out goalscorer - if he was then he would probably be playing at a (much) higher level.

As long as we keep it tight at the back we have goals all over this team so we will be fine.

He does so much for the team and when our 3 scorers have scored over 30 goals so far it doesnt matter who gets them, they will get around 50 goals this season i dont mind who gets 20 and which two get 15.

Cumbers could also have scored a hat-trick on Saturday if his first touch was better!

Clarke has now scored 25 goals in 60 + appearances. Not bad for someone who has missed the start of this and previous season due to fitness/registeration problems!

Add in he travels to training and games from Peterborough and you can see what he gives to the team. Started to really hit form for us which is great at this stage of the season.

Clarkey is a class act and a nice bloke who has always been happy to have a chat with the supporters home and away. As has been mentioned his committment to the team and club is clear for all to see.

In his St Albans days he was top scorer twice at this level (I believe) and he certainly has the instinct for goalscoring. Two winners in two tight games last month and let's hope for some more decisive goals in the next two months.

If they shut the front two out then Pires, Faz, Clarkey, Parky etc...etc...can all weigh in with goals.

Actually Dogme - I don't think that Ebbsfleet losing is a great result for us. It puts Woking clearly in the mix for a Play off place. I would have preferred a draw. I don't see us catching Ebbsfleet and there are now 3 or 4 of us challenging for that last place. Maybe one of the teams in 2nd 3rd or 4th will slip badly and drop out of the running but I don't think that is too likley.

Our game at Woking is becoming a massive game as are the games against Eastleigh.

I too was worried about Woking winning last night. I think thats 6 wins on the bounce for them and that must be the best form in the league at the moment.

Our squad have shown balls and commitment all season, just back them to keep giving everything. Theyve shown they love a battle. I think that one of the teams above will nosedive and we can take their place. Keep the run going and get behind the boys.

We'll still make the play offs. I have no doubt of that.
