Interesting that Bromley didnt publicise this game being that they get a share of the gate.
Lets hope the boys show as much committment and skill tonight as in the first game. Bromley will be up for this they get a second chance but if we play how we can we should be able to put more of a gap between us and really put Dover, Woking and Eastleigh under pressure and go level on points with Chelmo and make ground on the leaders.
COYW!!!

We had players missing for the first match and some of them are back after injuries and suspensions, plus even in the first match we played a lot better than Bromley, so i predict we'll win tonight :)
Why do football matches never kick off on time these days? The players didn't come out of the tunnel until kick off time and with all that faffing about lining up, shaking hands, etc, we're still a minute away from kick off.
Pretty even half. We had one disallowed just before half time (pushing). The referee probably got that one right, but not much else - he's been pretty poor for both teams. Bromley are giving us much more of a game this time.
two nil Wings. Again it looked like Clarke nearly got a touch, but went straight in from Fazakerley's free kick. First goal got given to Clarke so he must've got something on that one.
Great result for us. Thought the Welling fans were more up for it today and heard some good comments directed at Bromley's goalkeeper and their no.4 :D
Great resut tonight and glad Pughy got on the score sheet. Hes been trying hard to score lately and that will do his confidence a power of good. Three goal blitz in the scond half knocked the stuffing out of them.
Good news is the photographer got away with no ill effects
Forrester is so weak, every time Bromley wanted a free kick where fouled or not they squealed like an extra in dueling banjos. Good second half and keeps up the great run, first half we were static and lacked movement. Faz was deservedly man of match, they all did their bit second half.

I thought Bromley looked a lot better than when we played them before. The first half was evenly matched and it wasn't until we scored that we started to get the upper hand. The penalty was right but the guy was offside before he was brought down. We've had that linesman many times before and he's totaly useless. He only does throw-ins and offsides and gets those wrong most of the time.
Sods law tonight. Missed first goal walking back from shop after half time. Realised I needed something to eat so popped to burger van to hear the roar of the crowd for the third goal. Admit those around me suggested i went for a cuppa so we got a forth but it dont work that way. Thanks for the video already JgFc now I can see what I missed.

Ive noticed we have been slow in the first half a few times this year. However if you read Jamie's interview at Kentish Football you will see this has been a tactic against Certain teams.
He said we sat off them and had a look at them and went for it second half. Seems to have worked perfectly.
You cant do that with all teams as teams like Woking and Ebsfleet and Chelmo will go for your throat and you are then behind the 8 ball.
With Chelmo not in the greatest form and Ebbsfleet being smashed by Woking, we shouldnt have to much to fear against these teams, we are right there with them and only Ebbsfleet we have been stuffed by, and we didnt turn up and changed our system/players to the opponents when Jamie was still cutting his teeth, i am sure he would acknowledge that, We dont need to change our system to take on other teams it just makes their task easier. Let them worry about us, i am sure they all are. We owe Websfleet and theres a bit of niggle now they refused to move the game to avoid clashing with a TV Game.
We have been superb in really putting the pressure on others, and on saturday 4 or them play each other, lets hope we continue our superb form and every one of them does their job and gives 100% again from the start, We wont just be able to roll into Stortford and take the points.
The effort from the players last night on a bitterly cold night was superb. Another plus is Jamie Day has been rested and been unable to get back in. He will be eager to do well or the Manager might leave him out again.

The first half was even, but come the second half, we played them off the pitch. Fair play to them, they have the ability to pass the ball well and played some attractive footy, but in the end, our ability shone through and achieved the result that we deserved. As for the penalty, no way Pedro. Their full back is a better diver than Tom Daley. He should have been booked. But, as Sidcup Graham said to me before the kick off - the ref is OK for the first half, in the second, he loses it. How right he was. Faz deserved the Man of the match - ran his socks off all night - credit to the team. I have to mention Anthony A too - his first few games weren't too outstanding - now, he has come of age and plays a major role in the Wings defence. I hope that he improves every game - good luck mate. The rest of the guys played good too and another mention for Stella. Good all round performance and great free kicks. Good to see a goal from Pugh - that will give him confidence to get the hatrick next outing.
Anthony A's good work in recent games is systematic of all those who have come off the bench this season - they have come of age, done what's been asked of them and done it well.
At the start of the season you'd have looked at the likes of Anthony and Jordan Johnson and thought the quality ends at number 11. But the more game time they've all had this season the more they've matured into very fine squad players who have done a job when asked.
Bromley looked a good team but they have two big problems. The goalkeeper is frightened of crosses and the strikers are all trying to do it on their own. They look pretty good but lack the knowledge of when to pass rather than shoot.
Better coaching in both areas and they'll be contenders.
