It has to be said. A BIG thanks to JgFc for his excellent You Tube coverage of most of Wellings away Games. His vertigo busting bollock freezing efforts at some the grounds go above and beyond the call of duty. Some of us who have to miss the odd game would have missed some great goals without your steady camera work.
PS.. It goes without saying our gratitude to James U for his excellent coverage of the home games too.
I would like to be the first to congratulate you on your applause to Mr JgFc and Mr Underwood on their weekly efforts.
But I am sure that the two gentlemen mentioned would be quick to high light that they have a little help from some unsung heroes, without whom the finished works may not be anywhere near as good.
To the untrained eye the quality of each film may appear to be made by just a single person or indeed a joint effort of two people. But appreciation must also go to the following; The supporting cast The sound team Lighting Editors Wardrobe Production team
However, your main point is well made and like you I look forward to the films as well.
Cant do Eastleigh Away, so if anyone wants to step in for one game only... I know it would be welcome and the gaffer would appreciate the DVD being as we play them shortly afterwards. Dont worry about making DVDs or highlights i can sort that and get the footage off you.
If any of you have a camcorder of any sort, send me a PM ... unless James can do it? If you havent got one you can get a tripod for £15 quid that will be fine.
Vertigo... only at Luton, where i spoke to my maker many times and looked up several times before going up there s l o w l y... although some other gantrys are iffy Lutons was bum squeaking. I hope they go up this season :)
The most scary thing at luton was i was up there... just standing there after setting up, having got up there about 2 hours before kick off and playing the marsellies through my arris on the ascent... when from nowhere at 10,000 decibels came Only Girl in the world by Rihanna... i think i jumped 3 feet and nearly bailed out over the side on to the pitch.
Will have full highlights of Stortford late tonight, have watched it back, added the cut points and done the titles. But am just finishing some work before finishing Stortford.
If we go up what an end of season DVD we will have.
If the player of the year signs next season... i will give them a copy of every dvd of this season as part of their prize... And i think ive only missed Farney, Maidenhead away and Braintree in the cup.
James is the master for getting the games up quick, i think hes bar far the quickest at our level and all in HD.
