Braintree must surely have the title in the bag? Maybe it will make our trip there on 25th April a bit easier...
We've certainly got a tough run in, but given the form and commitment of the players I don't actually have any doubt that we could win all our remaining games.
On paper Dover have the easist run in, however the other teams have to play quite a few who could still get relegated so there may be a few upsets. WIth luck a couple of our rivals will fall away, we will go from strength to strength and finish at least 2nd! COYW lets get another 3 points tonight.
I'm not yet convinced that Braintree have the title in the bag - their form lately has not been good. Another couple of matches without winning and they might start to get the jitters.
Braintree have to play five of the teams in the bottom third of the table. In fact their next four games feature teams in this section, Lewes A, Maidenhead H, Dorchester H and Boreham Wood A. The other match in this group is Hampton A. If they lose some of these they will be in danger of losing the title. On the other hand if they win these but lose the other five they will still be on 85 points. Farnborough would have to finish no worse than W6 D1 L2 to equal this and their run in includes Chelmsford A, Welling A, Woking H and Eastleigh A. 85 points is already out of reach for Chelmsford and Dover and the other teams below Farnborough would have to win all of their remaining games to get there.
