That the club has announced admission charges right now.....surely IF (and it is a big IF) we are promoted the prices would be considerably higher.....of the magnitude of £15

I don't think it's that odd considering we need to pay another HMRC bill at the end of the season - I think May was the next date to pay up 20k? I can only think they want the revenue in before the end of the season, hence the deals on season tickets before Apr 30th.

Bit of a gamble because if we did go up the prices, as you say, would be higher but the new fans it would attract, away fans and new season ticket holders would cover that gamble.

I don't think it's that big an IF about promotion. We have the best side for years, sitting third, on a great run and the transfer embargo lifted.

I find it a bit interesting that "online payment available soon". Well done looks like club are taking on board suggestions made by fans. However just to upset peeps if its paypay I will not use it. Had hackers try to get into my account there so closed it down.

I agree but good on the club for doing a slight discount on season tickets brought early

Paypal is fine , unless you fall for a few of the scams that people try. Ive used it for years and can see the scams a mile off.

Never click links in a paypal email as many are spoofed and some lead to fake log ins

Never accept payments from unverified or unconfirmed paypal accounts

Have a decent Anti virus to stop back doors and keyloggers from recording your log ins

Change your password regularly

Also if you send payments as personal payment or gift from paypal funds you will send the actual amount the other person gets in full with no paypal charges.

I would like the club to aceept paypal and credit/debit cards if possible, well done for moving to online payments as that will bring in money and make it easy for people to spend dosh on tickets, merchandise and donating.

Given who our sponsors are I would have hoped that we would have come up with a way to pay on line and by card. Also means I can get 1% back on my credit card!

I'll definitely be getting a season ticket for next season and well done to the club for offering a discount :) This time I'll be getting a ticket for the terraces.

I'm assuming that there will be some communication to the lenders who helped the club. Part of these repayment monies were to be in the form of season tickets.

I'm sure the lenders reps have this in hand and are working with the club

Agree about season ticket discount even better for me this year as I will turn 60 in May ( I know its hard to believe ) so I will qualify for seniors rate. This will only encourage me to spend even more money on merchandise.

No mate and its cost me a fortune this season being in the shop: Cap, Beanie, 2 fleeces, replica, coat, key ring, badge, pen and goodness knows what else. Still "every little helps" as our other branch says

Unless they've changed the rules, I'm afraid you'll be dissapointed. The seniors discount is when you turn 65.

I'll be 65 in November so I guess I'll have to wait for next year before I get it.

According to official site concessions are over 60 and under 16 so we should both be ok for it.

Barry confirmed on Friday that there was an error in the original news item on the website which has since been corrected. Senior concession is now 60+ both for season tickets and pay on the gate.

I know at least one person that will probably go to more matches now that the age for senior concession has been lowered :)
