I dreamt the other night that we lost it 4-1! It'll be a tough match today, but I can't see our team losing so convincingly. Having said that, I'd be happy with a draw against the form team of the league.
I can't see any reason why we can't win today. We could do with a big crowd though as it is one of the games of the season. I'll be going to the match +1 today :)
Paul Booth starts for Farnborough and Craig Braham-Barrett is on the bench. Both were good players for us, so let's just hope they're past their prime!
Farnborough have bossed the first 15 mins, but we're starting to look more like our usual selves now. Our defence is not looking very solid at the moment - defending far too deep and not keeping in line.
Farnborough players and manager have been chirping at the ref all match so far. They're like Braintree without the elbows. They weren't too happy at our goal and argued very strongly that Pugh was offside.
Half time one nil. Pugh has been superb so far, closely followed by Clarke and Sambrook. Our defence is not looking at its best and it's fair to say that we've seen both sides of Anthony so far. Ref seems to be giving everything to them...
Couldn't see what happened at the other end, but from here it looked like a Farnborough player took a swipe at Anthony, which the ref didn't see either. Whatever it was, Whitehouse was going mental at the Farnborough 7.
it's been pretty much all us so far this half, but Farnborough look dangerous on the counter, so it's still finely balanced. Pires just missed a snap shot after a defensive error.
Final score one nil. We thorougly deserved that win, which was despite the ref's best efforts to give Farnborough as many decisions as possible. Farnborough pressured us in the last few minutes, but that was about it. Ref disallowed a goal from Pires just before the whistle.
King is a poor excuse for a human being. He tried to pick a fight with Jamie after the whistle. As well as checking the ball at Clarke, he also tried to kick it at Pugh, but it just missed. Bad loser.
Apart from a few weird decisions, including not red carding their goalie for deliberate hand ball outside the area, I thought the ref did OK.
Where he got 5 minutes extra at the end though beats me.
It didn't look like Anthony was too badly injured. Maybe they took him off for his own good. He was livid when he got to the dugout and was screaming that he was going to f**king kill the 7.
Was King the one who looks like Frankie Detori? Nasty piece of work.
Great result capped off by me having the winner of the National

He also pushed Loick with both of his hands right in front of the referee, and of course the referee didn't do anything. He was the same player that shoved Loick into the hoardings in the second half twice, but again the referee did nothing. King looks like a rent boy, so the referee was probably distracted whenever he committed a blatant foul!
Another great match and was very impressed with the whole team today :)
Great form from you chaps and chapesses behind the goal today. You must have inspired the lads.
When the radio surrey people arrived I showed them where the press box was and they asked about pluging in their radio equipment. Before I could answer the chap said no problem you get radio kent here each game. He seemed genuinly surprised when told they only turn up if we are playing Dover or Ebbsfleet.
I don't know if JGFC got the Anthony incident on video. It looked to me that their 11 clearly went for his eyes - would have been banned for weeks in rugby. Could blind some-one. Ref didn't see it or ignored it.
