Looks like Acheampong for pulling but thats a terrible decision Pugh has had 1 1000 times worse every week and never gets anything. Ref was eager to give Thurrock a goal as was giving very soft free kicks late in game..

Ebbsfleet can do as they please regarding next week. They are in the play offs and can pick and choose what team they play next weekend and rest players if they wish.
Nobody was more gutted than me about that Thurrock penalty on Friday but, let's put some perspective in here, that is not what might cost us a play off place. After all what about the two points we were gifted by Pullen's mistake way back in August. The season is full of "if only's"
As has been mentioned elsewhere if we do lose out it will be because of points given up off the pitch rather than on it.
There are always incidents when the ref gets it wrong or is conned. I can remember two free kicks we got yesterday that were in no way free kicks. It happens in every game. I can not subscribe to the idea that all refs are out to get us and are biased. Incompetent at times certainly but biased no. I am sure that some-one objectivley who looked at all our games over a season would find it balanced out.
I went to Gillingham on Saturday and sat with the home fans. I was totally neutral. The abuse the ref was getting and the accusations that were thrown at him was unbelievable. However I could see that he got most of the decisions right - especially the big ones over the penalties.
