Well sort of, they are at home to Hampton on Saturday when originally they were away to them. The home/away games were switched due to floodlight problems at Hampton (I think) leaving Chelmsford with 3 home games out of the last 4. With Chelmsford's home form very good (13 wins, 4 losses) I hope the league don't agree to this type of thing again at such a crucial time of the season.
Yes, the games were swapped over at Hampton's request. But we lost 3-0 at Hampton so did the switch really do us any favours because all other things being equal we'd have beaten Hampton at home (for the reason you give) so would have had the 3 points in the bag with the away game at Hampton today to come. Lucky? Nah!
Also, we had to travel to Hampton twice because the of floodlight failure. Lucky? Nah!
Also, arguably our best striker, Billy Bricknell, was injured in the game at Hampton and hasn't been fit enough to play since. Lucky? Nah!
Lets hope it continues today Peter and you get stuffed by Hampton. Would be poetic justice as we were denied last year because of their leniant treatment in ground grading deadlines etc. If they helped us get in this season then we will forgive them.
