With Tonbridge having beaten Lowestoft this afternoon and Salisbury having beaten Hednesford in their final, the constitution for BSBS next season now looks strightforward. It looks certain that Histon will now be placed in North so the make up looks like being Basingstoke, Bishops Stortford, Boreham Wood, Bromley, Dartford, Dorchester, Dover, Eastbourne, Eastleigh, Hampton, Havant, Maidenhead, Salisbury, Staines, Sutton, Tonbridge, Truro, Welling, Weston-Super-Mare plus the three unsuccessful teams from Chelmsford, Ebbsfleet, Farnborough and Woking.
So a couple of new grounds in prospect plus some that we haven't visited for a while.
However Bishops Stortford must be hoping that nobody folds in the next few weeks and Thurrock get reprieved as they would seem to be the only realistic candidate to be moved into North.
Presumably another southern team would be kicked out for Thurrock to be reprieved!!
I was thinking more of anyone from the Premier possibly folding (one club are reported to be in serious trouble). If that happened Southport would stay up and from what I've read Thurrock would be reprieved. I'm not sure whether that's due to the number of points per game they got being greater than Stafford (20th in BSBN) or if it's because only 2 teams are going down from BSBN already.
