I think the Crawley reference is just about right.

I wont hes stuck by AFC and got them in the league and finished the job, if he can now get a lot more money from someone else at the same standard then good luck to him.

Bet you wouldn't say that if he'd done it to us. You've had a go at many of our own departing players in the past. AFC fans will be well pissed off with him and from their perspective rightly so especially if it turns out to be Crawley.

He saw his contract out with us and then went higher, too effing right those that sod off mid season or say they will sign and then dont get no respect from me. Or those that have a benefit, profess undying love for the club say they are staying and then piss off to chelmsford.

That would be the guy who played ten years for the Club would it. Deserved his benefit and is a Club legend.

definitely deserved his benefit game, what he did after is questionable and could be described as shiitty on the club. Funny how when his knee fooked and chelmo binned him he came straight back and lasted a handful of games.

Cant take away his previous service just dissapointed with the end and the way he sodded off immediately after his benefit and then came back when he had nowhere else and was injured, Remember him playing on at Worcester though with a terry butcher headband so wasnt all bad at the end, just soured what he did for the club and his service over all IN MY OPINION.

Keds has a short career as a professional footballer and should maximise his earnings from that career. He gave us and AFC Wimbledon great service and always gave 100% to the cause.

If we are all offered a job with greater prospects and, one would assume a considerably higher salary, then most of us would jump at the chance.

If I were a Wimbledon fan then my initial reaction might well be anger but, at the same time, I would realise what a contribution he had made and how he has to maximise his potential in the years ahead.

They will also get a fair few quid so hardly left high and dry. Im sure they could get a good striker for half that price. Remember they got Keds for NOTHING when Grays stitched us up.

Players have been crucified on here for moving sideways or for more money yet here we are saying good luck Keds.

Danny is a forward of the old style, he did well for us and deservers to progress.

Every good boy deserves favour, full stop.
