Ben Martin fitted in just great I think at the end(ish) of last season & can only go on to strengthen our side & give us that extra boost in attacking from corners/set peices etc.
We have missed out on having a big imposing fella around when we have faced the more phiysical sides I think over the the last a couple of seasons, so yeah a very valuable player to our team.

Andrews and Coyle released, So we have Acheampong who could really be great this year and improve again, Ben Martin who has suffered injuries but is superb... So does that mean Parky is going back in the defence or we are bringing another center half in? Unless Sambrook signs but the noises on that front arent filling me with confidence.
Im really interested in seeing if Daisy brings in an established Center Half or Center Midfielder or finds a gem in Pre Season. I think if we find a really good player in eaither of those positions and/Sammy signs for next season we have a strong chance of Winning the League. Anyone called Steve Finnan and asked him if he fancies a season playing Right Back?
