Firstly I would like to thank the small advance party of fellow supporters who were able to move some of our resources from the club shop to Danson Park in preperation for the weekend show.

  • We have marked out our area and tested the speed gun and can confirm it works.
  • I can also confirm that the club has "loaned" WUSA some standing tickets for the Charlton game, so supporters can have the option of purchasing tickets for the match at our stand over the weekend.( price £12 adult £7 Concessions .)
  • We are now going to highlight the Welling DVD at our stand now.
  • Unfortunately we are unable to sell or show the new kit, but can take advance orders if anyone so wishes
  • Also WUSA Membership application or renewal foms will also be available from the stall.
  • We have also been allocated a slot in the main sporting arena, for which we are going hold the finals of the Dice Challenge.  
  • The Club have donated  WUSA 2 pairs of tickets for the Charlton match  to be used as a prize.

I am under the impression, that we have the stock as it as ordered for the Danson Festival, it is all down to how quickly the club get the artwork of the new sponsors to sportscene and how long it takes them to get them printed onto the shirts.

Hopefully not to long.

Thanks Morph can understand the club wanting to hold back until the logo is on shirt. Hopefully it could be ready in time for Charlton.

Got a batch of DVDs all produced. Would have done a load more had i known they were being highlighted, obviously we never knew as the shirts arent available.

If we sell out can get more done for tomorrow and also possibly burn some on site. People can also pay and have it sent for the same price. And those will be sent on Monday Morning.

Brilliant from WUSA for Danson, and selling Tickets for Charlton game and WUSA Membership Forms plus getting in the Main Arena for a while will really get the fact that Welling United exist out to the locals.

I hope the Skipper is up there today cos i'm gonna beat his score on the Speed Test         



Bruno if you see this give me a bell or text i have a couple of Late Ideas but need clearance from you or Matt and an answer to a question or two. You can get me before i leave at around 9am

WUSA and helpers worked their nuts off today in the shop, they were all superb, the speed test and the keepy uppy,im not naming them all they know who they are... lots of wings fans there today and also The Gaffer Jamie Day came along. Good group of Winsg fans around the display all of the day.

Well done all, especially Matt who was on the speed test all day getting people having a go.

Nah he wasnt even trying either but got 57, i had a best of 43 from 5 shots. Charlie Mitten did 61.

The Club wouldn't know in any case Spills as WUSA stock the shop.  As has been said in a couple of threads at the back end of last week I am hoping that the sponsors logo will be added this week and that the shop will have supplies in for the Charlton psf.  I will post as soon as I know but that is unlikely to be before Thursday or Friday.

Yep we had a competition between all of the players and First prize was Charlie 61 MPH and 2nd Prize was Parky 57 MPH, both went away with a season review DVD as a prize.

Had a chat with Charlie and he said he was gutted about the Maidstone game being called off,as he was looking forward to playing at PVR again. I'm sure if he ever does turn out against us he will get a great reception.
