On behalf of the WUSA committee, I would like to say A Big Thank you to all the people who came along to the Danson Festival and lent their support today, be it for ten minutes or several hours or just saying hello, your support was valued and appreciated and the main reason today has been a success.
A special thank you also goes to Jamie for taking time out to show his thanks for the supporters huge effort today.
It was good to see a Welling United presence at a Danson Festival at last and it looked a success. The speed test was particularly popular. It'll be interesting to find out how many dvds and Charlton tickets are sold over the weekend :) A small suggestion. Keep the dvds at £12, but if someone wants to have two of them let them have £2 off the second one.
Can I apologise to all those who helped today for not being there. Fully intended to man our stall today until my doc put me on some tablets that (due to side effects) caused me to spend all day at home.
I think by the end of the run we could sell 50-60 DVDs including the pre orders and that will be great and pump in 600-700 into boost the budget. so what ever is left over will be in the club shop for sale. Any we sell before pre season is a bonus as wasnt going to do them until this week ready for Charlton and Gillingham games.

I think the effort by WUSA today is fantastic. Really great scenes and a buzz around the Wings section. Proof that Danson is vital in getting the Club in the community, something that WUSA are striving to acheive.
Before pre season there has been a good renewal rate, so if people havent yet joined please do so.
