I thought he signed a new contract with us! At least we'll get some money for him if he does go, which will help our budget a lot, but of course we'll lose a very good footballer.

Hes 22 and hes class, good luck to him if he impresses at Gillingham and Kev that figure would be "derisory" for me , got to be fair to Jack if they want him just dont let us get our bums smacked and lose a class player for an amount that means we lose out all ends up and have to find a good left back. Hope he stays with us but if he does go im sure Daisy can get a good deal and may even get player or season loan plus cash and sell on.
I'll see your 10 and 20k and raise you 10k plus sell on and they still get a bargain.

Good luck to him if he can get signed by them. Always been a 100% man. As long as we don't get shafted in the deal is can't see any welling fan would want to hold him back. Of course I hope he stays. Braham-Barrett went for £10k. Based on that I reckon £25k
I wonder whether the Gills have the dosh after shelling out for Danny Keds? As has been said, Stella is a class player and should command a good fee plus good sell-on clause. I would really love him to stay, but that would be selfish to a player who wants to further his career and has already demonstrated his loyalty to Wings' fans.
My fear is that, at a later stage, he is shipped off on loan to Dover as part of a deal for Birchall,

Could Jack play for different teams, at different grounds, on the same afternoon? The Bromley v Gills match is a 1pm ko. He could play the first half or part of it, then be back at pvr to play the second half or part of it against Charlton. That way, he gets to impress two league teams!
By the way, there's a Gills fan commenting on the Kent online story decrying the use of non-league players - don't they remember David Smith, a winger they picked up from the Wings? And how about Andy Townsend, Tony Agana, Steve Finnan (not to mention Ian Wright) as non-league players? If that is the way some Gills fans think, I wonder whether Jack should go there. Let's hope if he does get snapped up he goes to a club whose fans appreciate him - Charlton?

l thought that Welling were having a Gillingham player on trial at PVR!
And that's exactly what i expect to happen before the season starts. Who knows, maybe it was a condition of the friendly being arranged. They have one of ours on trial and we have one of theirs. Stranger things have happened, and i wouldn't put anything past the boss Jamie, as he's a miracle worker :)
