Jack Obersteller played the first half for Gillingham but Danny Kedwell was rested after playing in midweek. Danny Spiller, who played one game for Welling, played the second half.

Bromley included ex-Wings Marlon Patterson, Orlando 'Mucu' Smith, Rory Hill (who notched both goals), Tamer Tuna, Ryan Dolby and Rob Hughes

Was a good player but has had more clubs than tiger woods!

By all accounts Ober was the gills most impresseve trialist yesterday. Lets hope we get a good deal if they decide to take him on.

Will Stella and Keds be at PVR on Tuesday night?  E&B site states that Gills will be sending a near full strength side to play against them.

The thing is we don't need to sell Stella and we aren't in desperate need of money anymore. Our financial situation could be better of course, but we're not in a position where we have to take whatever Gillingham offer us. £25,000, plus a sell on fee and a player in their squad that is surplus to requirements would do just fine :)

True but to attract players who are possibly above this standard who want to get back in the league, and to get them to sign contracts you cant ask for too much. You have to strike a balance where the club does well and the asking package isnt well over the value.

I do think you are looking at a 5 figure fee minimum plus sell on, you cant end up getting walked over but you cant hold them to ransom if you want to attract class players..

Cant agree more....we always will be a feeder club BUT also we are a club that players want to play for too.....so if and it is a BIG IF Jack (either of them) leaves then we get some pennies and Daisy has to work his magic again.

I have to guess that both are on decent pennies so we would be able to attract new talent too....It is only early July

What difference will getting a 5 figure sum make to our transfer budget? I have no idea how much players at our level are paid.
