Good luck to him. Personally I can't see him making it at that level.

Good luck to Loick.

Does anyone else wonder what happened to clubs making offers?, surely by our players going on trial here there and everywhere, theres a chance that they could get messed in the head and a chance they could get injured, EG Southend playing parky two days running when he aint their player was bollox.

By all means allow the clubs to make offers and even sign our players but dont let them take the piss with us.

I wish him well, but like Chelwing says he has not shown enough at our level yet to indicate that a move back to the football league is possible. However I could be proved wrong we shall see. 3 players on trials with league clubs all of whom where out of contract at the end of the season.

Yes, good luck to Loick - but I agree with your general comment jgfc.  If players have a chance to go on trial with a League club it is difficult to put a block on it. But you have to wonder why they cannot watch our players in friendlies and league matches and then make a reasonable offer subject to a trial which the Wings can either accept or reject.  I know that we are a non-league club, but we should not be messed about by League clubs - especially with the season just a few weeks away.  Surely planning goes out the window, but whether there is a greater risk of injury is debatable unless that player is involved in too many games in a short period.

Crewe are pants. One of my fellow Bishops is a supporter and watches them regularly. mid table or relegation candidates at best most seasons.........

I wondered how long it would take this news to get on here :) I only found myself this morning from Barrie, when i went to get my season ticket. Oh and if anyone is wondering, there aren't any players on trials with league clubs other the three everyone knows about, because i made a point of asking about it.

The point is, if a genuine offer is made at this time before the season begins. any player cannot be blamed for seeing the whole picture. As has been said before, we would all be interested in be better job if offered.

I have a sneeky feeling our players would have to be made a really good offer they couldnt refuse before they would move on.
