Official site is live finally. I'd like to apologise for the delay but there were various technical problems and stuff like that that stopped me going live earlier. 

I know some of you aren't going to like the fact that we are using a template website this year but due to speed issues and to ease the transition, James and I decided it was for the best. I promise this will be only for one season - maybe half if a season if I have enough time and there definitely will be a fresh site next season. Until then, we've got this so please remember this is only temporary. 

If any of you have some events or shop photos please pm me and I'll put them asap. The domain will also change soon as well it just takes a while after going live. If you have issues with some of the design pm because criticism is the only way I'll get better and make the site look good next season. 

If anyone knows anybody who is available to do photos for the site this season please let me know as well as I'm a poor student and can't really afford an expensive camera. 

Sorry for the delay again and make sure you thank James for all his good work these past years.

Big thanks to Daniel for taking over the site, everything looks superb.

He is in a similar position to where I was when I first took over, so please can I ask all Wings fans to back him and give him the same support and advice you did me.

The domain name is in the process of switching over, this can take up to 24 hours.

I'm in no doubt that Dan will be an ever better Webmaster than I was biggrin

Ive begged/asked Dave if he can do head and shoulders individual photos of the squad and staff before the first game, i can then use them in the videos on the captions and they will be superb for the official site.

i think Dave is fine with it if we can sort it with Jamie and the players before a game, they will look class. Dave takes a good photo.

Good luck and well done to Dan on taking over on the site, as he says its only temporary and it should take shape over the next few days/weeks.

Visited the site, lot of work gone into it well done, I use the pitchero template for my team and it is also used by other local grassroots teams within Bexley and beyond - once you get used to the "control panel" it is easy to use and over time a top website can develop.

The template is also being used more and more by semi professional clubs from the blue square down as it is relatively easy to use and meets the needs of most football clubs.

I am very impressed with the new site, and would like to welcome Daniel by wishing him "all the best and thanks for his fine efforts so far". We were so fortunate to have James producing such a fine site for our club for so many years, and he certainly deserves the break that he is now enjoying.

Let us all help Daniel in every way possible to ensure that our site will be one that we are all proud of. Thanks mate

looking good if i were to offer two tips that would be good for an official site

1 use sharp, clear, non blurry images without exception
2 use google chrome as a browser as has built in spell checker

Last week the site entered the pitchero chart at 69 (oo-er), this week after only one week its stormed up the charts to number 4 over eastbourne and maidenhead. I have no idea if its done on content or hits or both, maybe Dan will have some news. Next week number 1??

The chart is done on a weekly basis, based on hits and vistors per week, it is also only done with the top 1,000 pitchhero sites across the country.
