never like it when you see bad tackles in pre-season but depending on how long he is out for then surely he will stay with us for a while?

Absolute joke, and exactly what we was worried about..God hope he's ok but surely we should look at compo or for them to pay his wages if not!

Could just be a knock and Crewe did the decent thing and took him off. Will have to wait and see what happened. Just hope it doesnt stop loick playing next weekend or even worse for the start of the season or it puts him back a few days/weeks and affects us..

Im not sure what happens wages wise if he cant play for us in the next game, as it was done not playing for us. But they only get paid for the actual season dont they?,

From what I gather now its just a knock, I still hope Daisy sticks to his guns with the no more trialists going out for this exact reason, I think southend and now crewe have tried to bully us a little and Daisy was naive at first but quick to learn. The one positive thing is they will come back with a idea of the level they need to be at and hopefully strive towards with us.

I disagree about Daisy being naive. He has to give players the opportunity to play at a higher level. Any future players he wants to recruit will be pleased to know this.

He can use it as motivation, so do the business for us and within reason you will get your chance and not be held back. Im sure Stella, Parky and Loick will see they can get the chance if they are consistent for us and theyve each had a glimmer of whats required and will have feedback off the league clubs. As has been said they each will probably be a bit fitter having trained at a league club and played for them.

All Daisy has to do is strike the balance and by saying no more trials and the players have to sort deals ASAP hes showing hes not going to be messed about by League teams but has given them their chance and been more than fair, letting 2 of them play twice while on trial.

Once the season starts, what's the soonest date a player of ours under contract can leave the club? January?

The season starting makes no difference. The transfer window shuts for Conference National and above on 31st August.

Looks like Loick is back with us . Lets hope the week he had with Crewe has been a benefit and he comes back and plays as well as Parky and Stella have.
