I just have the feeling that Keds will justify Ade's faith in his potential and may well surprise those who felt that Ade should confine his net to ex pros/Conference players.
Its still early days, and he has had a month out through suspension, but the signs are there. He is tireless in his efforts and I would think that to many defenders in our league he may be their worst nightmare. Sure it can be argued that he is a raw talent but with the guidance of Ade and his team and support from the experienced heads in the squads the opportunity is there for him to develop. The impression that I have gained from the matches I've seen him in is that he is up for it and that can only bode well for us.
Back to the goalscoring, Paul Booth is an established 20 goals a season striker at our level and if we confine his goal tally to League matches (5 in 11 matches) Keds is more than keeping pace (6 in 8 matches*)- both a long way adrift of St Albans Lee Clarke (10 in 12 matches) who I think is still the League's leading goalscorer. After a storming start scoring in each of St Albans first 8 matches, Clarke hasn't scored in his last 4 starts and other players must be nearing his total.
* I believe I made an error in the earlier posting and Keds had 5 goals in 7 matches pre the Carshalton match.

Doh! Why didn't I think of looking there? Don't answer that!!
If only all official websites carried a player stats page like Russ'. I had to trawl through the match reports to get info on Lee Clarke and my tally of 10 goals is 1 less than Conference South site credits him with.
