THE BLONDE KID IN A HOODIE's match report which was yet again posted as a separate thread despite my request that all match reports are confined to 1 thread per match.

bruno

Hi all, this is my weekly match report.

Welling United last night recorded their third succesive win with a narrow victory over Tonbridge Angels. The Wings fell behind after just six minutes when the Tonbridge Angels striker, Collins grabbed the first goal of the game, Dan thomas could have done nothing about the shot, it was buried deep into the goal.

Welling went 2-0 down after the 39th minute, Collins again returned the rebound from a Tonbridge Angel midfielder strike. Welling were starting to verge away from their mission of a top-sport finish.

The Wings quickly responded to falling 2-0 by grabbing a goal on the stroke of halftime, Loick Pires gave the Wings something to build-up on for the second half and to try and grab an equaliser.

The action was fairly balanced until the 74th minute when Andy Pugh grabbed the fourth goal of the night and his fifth goal of the season to put Welling United back on level terms. The crowd was swiftly back onto Wellings side again. All the support from the fans quickly payed of as 2-2 suddenly became 3-2. Loick Pires, once again on strike.

Welling then had multiple chances to snatch the game out of sight from Tonbridge, the best chance Lee Clarkes strike from 14yards but shot three yards over the bar.

The Wings held on for the narrow victory and i feel that the support really made a difference. Thats 10points out of 12 as the United steer themselves towards top of the table. They are currently second behind Dartford. Same point but have scored one less goal but the hunt for the top-spot is still on. COYW

By The Way............THIS CLEARS IT ALL UP....................THE REFEREE WAS YET AGAIN A W****R

My dear "The blonde kid in a hoodie"

Just a suggestion from a simpleton, but after you have spent your time producing a quality posting like the one above, and then end it in the way that you have. What do you think the reader will remember, the quality of the content or the statement that ends it?

Kind regards

Trigger.
